Do you know where your towel is?
Tomorrow is Towel Day, a day of remembrance for Douglas Adams, author of the Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy. Observe it by carrying a towel all day.

So it seems like, if you have a blog, you should set up your RSS feed. And if you have a feed, you should run it through Feedburner. So while I’m using the excuse of doing this stuff so I can learn all about feeds and syndication and yadda yadda for my clients, I really do find it kind of neat. So I set it all up, and looked at my stats. I have one subscriber…me.
So that makes me curious..how many of you actually read RSS feeds? I use NetNewsWire Lite (RSS aggregator for Mac) and have about 30 feeds. Sure makes it easier than going to each of those pages every day to see updates. So do you use it? How many of you don’t even know wtf I’m talking about? Really, I’m curious.
Ok now this is just cool. You know how sometimes you see a link and think that “oh, so and so would like that” so you go through all the trouble of copying the bookmark and opening up your email program and pasting it into a new mail with a stupid “hey i thought you might like this” kinda message…
Now, as long as you and the other person use http://del.icio.us for tagging bookmarks, all you have to do is hit the “tag” button you should have on your browser somewhere or other for easily tagging, and just give tag it for:username, in my case anything you tag for:rainbowslinky will automatically appear in a page for me. Can’t get much cooler than that, really.
Well I’m back from Thanksgiving, where I didn’t get to do several things I wanted to, for various reasons. After the 11+ (normally 7.5) hour trip OUT there, I really didn’t want to be in a car again. Lots of good food as always. Wish I’d brought home more sweet and sour meatballs though! Yummy.
Work’s been keeping me busy. I couldn’t even go to the Microsoft thing I’ve been planning for over a month now. Free SQL 2005 & VS.NET 2005, damnit. Too much work. I was planning on doing it last night but a girl needs to get some sleep, ya know? I worked almost 13 hours yesterday.
The weather is so weird. One minute it’s freezing and the next it’s 70. These ups and downs are bad.
I can’t wait till my next few checks arrive. iMac baby! It’s purely business necessity.
Yeah yeah. Really!
