New Years Review
Well Melissa dragged my sorry ass out of the house. Geeky me just wanted to stay home and work on configuring the new blog theme. We went to Mad Mex for dinner, which was quite good. After that, over to the only movie theater in Columbus showing Brokeback Mountain. Tix for the show we’d planned on going to were sold out, so we were just going to go rent a movie and go home. As we’re heading back to the parking garage, who should we run into but Jen and her roomie Don! They were planning to see the same showing as us, and hadn’t pre-ordered tickets, so we just decided to get tickets for the 10:45 show and hung around at the theater until it was time. I was so so happy to see Jen, it sucks going from seeing someone 5 times a week to once a month if I’m lucky. I miss you girl! So that made a cranky me MUCH happier. Best surprise I could have hoped for. It was a wonderful New Year’s Eve.
Today we just slept late, went food shopping and did some chores. Now I’m being geeky while Melissa watches L Word reruns.
